Jamie joined the group in 2025 as a Co-Op Student, then completed her 2025–2026 Honours Research Project, and then worked with us as a research technician. She worked on various microscopy-related projects. Jamie moved to UBC in 2026 to started her Masters studies.

Emily visited our group in 2025 to work on a collaborative project. She used genome-wide association studies (GWAS) to identify genes involved in lignin and cell wall traits in Canadian shrub willow species (Salix eriocephala and Salix famelica).

Talia joined the group in 2025 as a volunteer and then continued working with us as a research technician in 2026. She helped us to optimise our plant cultivation methods.
